A Family Run Bed and Breakfast in Yarmouth Isle of Wight
Bed and Breakfast from £70.00 per night per room. Dogs welcome by arrangement.
Deana Turnbull and her family warmly invite you to share their B&B seaside home for a night or two, or longer. Whether you are on your travels, on holiday, on business or visiting friends or family on the Isle of Wight.
Waterside House was built in 1865 as a holiday home for a wealthy IOW businessman. A unique Victorian marine villa, it boasts fabulously uninterrupted panoramic views of the Solent from its waterside location. Rescued and restored by the Turnbull family, the house retains many original features but blended with the necessities of modern living.
Our two guest bedrooms at the B&B both overlook the Solent and both have window seats and large windows from which to enjoy the sea view, the changing tides, yachts, fishing boats, ocean going liners and sea birds. As well as the normal en suite shower room, tea and coffee facilities, TV/DVD player and WiFi, both rooms have access to the balcony.
A balcony breakfast al fresco or a glass of wine as the sun goes down the choice is yours.
Guests are also welcome to use the lounge and dining room, both overlooking the sea.
Waterside House B and B is a 10 minute stroll from the center of Yarmouth, along the sea wall and through Yarmouth’s picturesque High Street, into the Square, with its ancient buildings, harbour, castle and wooden pier. Yarmouth, Isle of Wight boasts 3 pubs, 5 restaurants and a host of independent shops to keep you entertained.
